With a "persuasive and seductive charm Leah Isabel Tirado bursts into life with a thoroughly manic quality that sets the place alight" (Bruce G. Bradley, Isthmus). Adding the right kind of spice to the Big Payback, this ever present singer commands the stage with her soulful vocals.
Leah has been performing since her aunt Maribel started producing shows in their backyard when she was three. Since then she's climbed to incredible heights having performed in over 30 different shows, choirs and ensembles throughout the Midwest in the past six years, three of those years being with the Wisconsin Singers as a Singer/Dancer and serving as their Vocal Captain. Most recently appearing in Stroller Theatre's production of Man of La Mancha and gaining much praise for her portrayal of Van's Sister in OutKast's production of Dog Sees God.
At age 18 she and her friend Kim Sutter founded For Our Generation, a nonprofit organization that raises funds for the performing arts programs in her hometown. She has also contributed her talents to the Children's Theatre of Madison, Madison Schools and Recreation Summer Programs, and the Wisconsin Singers. Combining these two passions is what makes the Big Payback unique, and a project she is very eager to see through.
